How would you describe your activity level over the last two years?
I've been on and off for the last two years, but mostly sedentary.
I walk daily, practice yoga, and do some moderate exercise weekly.
I lift weights regularly, run and/or cycle, and do some high intensity training.

Over the last 10 years, how many "diets" would you say you've tried?
Hard to say! I feel like I'm always dieting and getting nowhere. I'm so confused.
At least 20 diets or more . On average I start two each year to release the same weight I keep regaining.
I don't usually follow a diet, but every now and then if my clothes feel tighter I clean up my nutrition and up my training.

If you've ever followed.a low carb, high fat diet how was the experience for you?
Miserable. I was cranky and had headaches. Replacement sugars never fulfilled me and eventually I would break down and binge on high carb treats.
It worked for me while I was on it initially, but the moment I started eating carbs again the weight came right back on.
I feel at my best when my carbs are lower and my fats are higher. I always feel more satisfied at my meals when I add good fats.
I've never tried a high fat, low carb diet.

How do you typically feel after eating a bowl of oats with your usual topping of fruit, nuts or seeds (rolled or steel cut)?
I'm usually hungry about an hour later, even if I did eat other things too.
I'm good for about two to three hours and then usually looking for a snack.
I feel so satisfied and comfortable for hours and don't feel overly hungry or ever famished at the time of my next meal.
I don't eat steel cut or rolled oats, I usually have the flavoured oatmeal packs on hand.
I don't eat oats of any kind.

How would you currently describe your hunger and appetite control?
I feel out of control most times. I can never tell when I'm hungry. I frequently eat until I am in pain and usually that is when I will stop.
I do really well during the day all week, but on evenings and weekends I sometimes find myself binging on treats I am trying to avoid.
I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I am full. I have no problem pushing cake or pizza away when I start to feel full.
I hardly ever feel hungry, I don't eat much actually and yet the weight doesn't budge.
If I'm being honest, I frequently binge and then purge what I ate, or over-exercise to make up for it.
People around me say I am underweight and yet I don't feel that way. I still need to loose weight.

Take your time to read and prepare over several weeks before starting.
Make with what you already have at home, and gradually make changes along the way.

Feeling overwhelmed when there were too many changes at once.
