Vegan Cacao Chia Pudding for Gluten-Free

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or any other non-dairy milk such as almond milk or soy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: sliced bananas, berries, shredded coconut, chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds, coconut milk, raw cacao powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk again to prevent clumping.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken.
  5. Once the pudding has reached your desired consistency, give it a final stir.
  6. Serve the pudding in bowls or jars, and top with your favorite toppings like sliced bananas, berries, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts.
  7. Enjoy your dairy-free cacao chia pudding!
