One Bowl Energy Balls

These energy balls are so versatile! They come together super easily in one bowl - no food processor required! The base of these energy balls is only 5 ingredients and then from there you can choose the mix-ins that you love!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup of quick oats (rolled oats or old fashioned oats would work too)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter 
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • pinch of sea salt
  • choice of mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, dried fruit, cocoa powder, protein powder, etc)

Method:

1. Put all of the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl and mix together. If you find the mixture wet, add in more oats and if it seems to dry, add in more nut butter. 

2. You will know the dough is right when you can form a ball and it sticks together. 

3. Place the bowl in the freezer for 20 minutes to help make them easier form.

4. Remove the bowl from the freezer and form balls into desired size. Keeping them small to medium will make for around 12-15 energy balls. Enjoy!
