Chocolate Mint Smoothie

Fresh mint from the garden takes this chocolate smoothie to the next level! Great on a hot day, this refreshing and chocolately plant based smoothie hits the spot as a snack or a dessert!

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 majool date
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 mint leaves
  • cocoa nibs as garnish (optional)

Method:

1) Add almond milk, banana, mixed berries, cocoa powder, chia seeds and mint leaves into a high speed blender and blend together until smooth.

2) Garnish with cocoa nibs (which taste delicious mixed into the smoothie). Enjoy!
