Crispy Kale Chips

Kale chips make for an easy, healthy snack and are an amazing way to add more leafy greens into your day! I cooked up two trays in the oven because I knew they would be gone in seconds! These are so good, they are sure to satisfy the whole family when the snack cravings hit!

Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

  • Large bunch of kale, cut into big pieces with stems removed
  • 1 tsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne powder

Method:

1. Chop up the kale into large pieces and remove the stems.

2. Mix together the spices in a small bowl.

3. Toss kale with avocado oil, coating lightly. The lighter the coating of oil, the crispier your kale chips will be (too much oil will make them soggy).

4. Toss kale in seasoning, mixing with hands.

5. Lay the kale evenly across a baking sheet in a single layer and bake at 300 degrees.

6. After 10 minutes of baking, flip kale over one piece at a time and bake for another 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it and remove when crispy! Enjoy!
